Ideally a ten inch difference between waist, bust and hips will fill out the fit and flare or mermaid bridal gown. Few of us have exact proportions so here at Breathless Bridal in Ridgetop Tennessee, we know some tricks to help magnify the curves.
If your figure is fuller in the hips with a smaller bust line, adding capped or short sleeves will draw the eye to the bust and balance out the figure.
An off the shoulder strap can easily be added to a strapless fit and flare to accentuate your curves.
If you are more endowed in the bust with smaller hips, long sleeves will help draw the eye to the hips for the illusion of a fuller figure and minimize the bust area. A low placed belt may also add to the hip area. Fuller busted girls can wear sleeveless, over the shoulder straps, three quarter or longer sleeves. You will want to stay away from short or capped sleeves as these will magnify the bust line.
